Coláiste Bhun an Inbhir is a Gael Linn summer college located in North West Donegal, 50KM from Letterkenny. The Bun an Inbhir gaeltacht is blessed with a rich cultural heritage and beautiful beaches and scenery.
The courses are both exciting and enjoyable and require students to speak Irish for the full duration of the course to the best of their ability. The courses in June last for two weeks and are designed especially for students aged 11-14 years.
A mixture of formal classes and a wide range of activities ensure every student has an opportunity improve fluency in the Irish language and deepen their awareness of their heritage.
There is also an optional water sports module on offer for which an additional fee is charged. Why not try kayaking, body-boarding or surfing under fully qualified supervision?
All formal classes are conducted by fully trained teachers.
All other activities are fully supervised by teachers and a cadre of experienced cinnirí.
Students stay with local families and each house has been inspected by representatives of the Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht.
Coláiste Gael Linn Bhun an Inbhir is also registered with CONCOS, the national federation of summer colleges.
