Fadcheirnín Vinil (eagrán teoranta) Ó Riada sa Gaiety - Ba in Amharclann an Gaiety, Baile Átha Cliath, ar an 30ú Márta 1969, a thug Seán Ó Riada, Ceoltóirí Chualann agus Seán Ó Sé ceolchoirm mar chomóradh ar dhá chéad bliain ó bhásaigh Peadar Ó Doirnín, file ó cheantar Oiriall. Ba é Seán Ó Mórdha a léirigh an cheolchoirm.
Chun an tinreamh a uasmhéadú cuireadh de chúram ar oibrithe Gael Linn glaoch a chur ar shaoránaigh na príomhchathrach san eolaire gutháin a
raibh n-ainm i nGaeilge agus ticéid a dhíol leo. D’oibrigh an tseift. Tháinig na sluaite.
Ba chor cinniúna í an cheolchoirm agus an taifead a eisíodh ina dhiaidh i gceol traidisiúnta na hÉireann. Agus é ag machnamh ar Ó Riada do na nótaí muinchille don chéad eisiúint in 1970, chreid Seán Mac Réamoinn, ‘…d’fhéadfadh go mbeadh duine ag súil le rudaí suntasacha ó dhuine a raibh a éirim agus a thionchar, go háirithe sna deich mbliana roimh a bhás, tar éis claochlú radacach a dhéanamh ar shaol an cheoil Ghaelaigh.’
Ba ó Ó Cearbhalláin, réamhtheachtaí Uí Riada ón 18ú haois, go leor de na píosaí a roghnaigh Ó Riada an oíche úd. Chuir na rianta ar an albam, a n-eagrú agus a léiriú, go mór le hathchóiriú ár n-oidhreachta ceoil, rud a spreag na glúnta a tháinig agus a thiocfaidh ina dhiaidh. Ensemble ceoil thraidisiúnta a bhí i gCeoltóirí Chualann faoi stiúir an Riadaigh a chuaigh ar an stáitse an oíche iomráiteach seo i gomhar leis an amhránaí as Condae Chorcaí, Seán Ó Sé. Chuaigh oirfidigh Ó Riada sa Gaiety ar aghaidh le bheith ina n-ainmneacha a d’aithneodh duine ar bith: Paddy Moloney, Éamon de Buitléir, Peadar Mercier, Martin Fay, Seán Keane, John Kelly, Seán Potts, Micheal Tubridy agus leoga Seán Ó Sé. To maximise attendance Gael Linn workers were tasked with phoning Dublin citizens in the phone book with their name in Irish. The ploy paid off. The concert and the subsequent record release was a watershed in Irish traditional music.
