(English Language Below)

The Dancer at the Fair: Seinneann an fliúiteadóir as Ros Comáin John Wynne agus an fidléir John McEvoy a rugadh i mBirmingham, ceol beoga slachtmhar le hornáidíocht den chéad scoth a chruthaíonn fuaim atá fuaite le chéile go fíneáilte.
Tagann The Dancer at the Fair i ndiaidh Pride of the West a tháinig amach in 2007, ón bheirt iomráiteach seo. Á dtionlacan ar an taifead nua seo tá: John Doyle, giotár agus an mandóla, Mike McCague, bouzouki agus giotár, Brian McGrath, méarchlár, agus Pádraic Keane ar an mbodhrán – tionlacan den chéad scoth.
Dhá rian déag atá ar an albam le meascán den sean agus den nua. Déanann rogha na bhfonn taobh le ríleanna díreacha, portanna agus cornphíobaí anuas ar an teidealtraic spraíúil, The Dancer at the Fair, albam álainn. Mar a mbeifeá ag súil leis ó na hoirfidigh seo a bhfuil an oiread sin taithí acu, tá an ceol nádúrtha agus nuálach agus é seinnte le fuinneamh friochanta agus go healaíonta.
Ina n-aonar tá mórán taithí ag Wynne agus McEvoy agus fosta tá stair shaibhir de chomhshaothar acu ag seinm le grúpaí agus le comhpháirtithe éagsúla thar na blianta agus iad ar chamchuairteanna forleathana ar fud na hEorpa, SAM agus na Nua-Shéalainne. Mar bhaill den ghrúpa mór le rá Gatehouse tá moladh agus ardmheas faighte ag a gcuid léirithe mealltacha ceoil.
Is féidir an t-albam a shruthú nó a íoslódáil ar lipéad Gael Linn ar na príomh-ardáin dhigiteacha ón 21.06.24.

The Irish Times
