Príomhfheidhmeannach nua á earcú ag Gael Linn

Cuirfidh Gael Linn, an t-eagras aitheanta uile-Éireann, tús amárach leis an bpróiseas le Príomhfheidhmeannach nua a earcú.

Fágfaidh an Príomhfheidhmeannach reatha, Antoine Ó Coileáin, an post sin ag deireadh na Bealtaine agus é ag dul ar scor ag deireadh a chonartha reatha.

Bhí seo le rá ag Pádhraic Ó Ciardha, Cathaoirleach, Gael Linn;

Thar ceann an uile dhuine anseo, gabhaim buíochas ó chroí le Antoine as a thiomantas agus as a sheirbhís stuama, dhúthrachtach le fiche bliain anuas mar Phríomhfheidhmeannach. Bhí ról lárnach aige i gclaochló an eagrais. Fágfaidh sé mar oidhreacht againn an nuál agus an fuinneamh a léirigh sé ag cur na Gaeilge agus a cultúr chun cinn. Is iad sin tréithe bunaithe Ghael Linn agus misean leanúnach an eagrais le seachtó bliain. Is teist ar a chumas agus ar a fheidhmíocht iad na torthaí iontacha atá á mbaint amach faoi chúinsí dúshlánacha na linne seo.

“Guímid fad saoil, sonas agus sláinte air féin ar a bhean, Mairéad agus a dteaghlach agus iad ag tabhairt aghaidh ar chaibidil nua ina saol”.

Dúirt Antoine Ó Coileáin, Príomhfheidhmeannach Gael Linn:

“Ba phribhléid dom bheith im’ Phríomhfheidhmeannach ar eagraíocht a bhfuil an oiread tionchair aige ar shaol cultúrtha na hÉireann. Bhain mé pléisiúr as saibhreas agus ilghnéitheacht mo chuid oibre agus is ábhar sásaimh dom caighdeán ár gcuid tograí iomadúla. Tá mé faoi chomaoin mhór ag na boird stiúrtha agus na baill foirne a bhí ina gcrann taca dom i gcaitheamh mo thréimhse. Anois agus Gael Linn ag druidim le clochmhíle 70 bliain a bhunaithe, is cúis bhróid dom an ról a d’imir mé ina éabhlóid agus guím toradh céadach air sa todhchaí.’

Tá an fógra earcaíochta ar fáil ANSEO, áit a bhfeicfear sonraí ábharacha faoin bpróiseas sin; spriocdháta agus an seoladh r phoist d’iarratais.
