This is a course to give Transition Year students the opportunity to develop basic media skills. A major advantage is that the students are learning Irish throughout the course. They are given an understanding of various methods of communication; journalism, radio, television and social media. They use professional equipment throughout the course. Highlights of the course include making a short film, as well as putting together and recording a radio programme in the Raidió na Life studios.

Scileanna Craoltóireachta:

Filmmaking Skills:

– Filmmaking plan and script preparation

– Camera operation

– Editing

One week | Monday to Friday | 10.00am to 3.00pm (*ends at 1pm Friday)

15 students on each course through one group registration

€70 per person – a school can pay for this for the entire group via an invoice from us or the individual student can pay on the first day.
