For a language to survive, it must be learned, developed and spoken in all parts of society. Gael Linn plays a central role in the work of schools, providing practical opportunities to speak Irish.

Some of the functions assigned to us as the lead organisation include: education in the English Language Sector – research and advocacy for the teaching of Irish, support for teachers and provision of resources.

An Gréasán
An Gréasán do Mhúinteoirí Gaeilge exists to support and represent Irish language teachers. It provides opportunities for meetings, discussions, learning and more.
